I can see the first sprouts on branches, budding flowers, tiny leaves - all quietly filling up the barren trees - until they are ready to announce the arrival of spring.

Travel Sketchbook

"Sketching is not about doing "good" drawings or paintings. It is about being in the moment, about putting aside expectations and judgment and letting the hand record what the eyes see..." Travelling is inspiring, enriching and I love to experience and capture my favourite moments and places in my little sketchbook whenever possilbe. Here's sharing with you some of them.

The Alhambra in Granada, on a sunny winter afternoon, as seen from one of the rooftops of El Albayzín. Loved the snow capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada mountains in the background.
